CMHC, Inc., is a comprehensive community
mental health center. Our professional staff members provide a full range of
services to address a variety of situations, from problems of living to serious
mental illness. We serve individuals, couples and families of all ages and
income levels. We also offer consultation services to area agencies and
organizations.
Professional Staff
CMHC
staff members are trained and licensed/certified in psychiatry, clinical
psychology, clinical social work, psychiatric nursing and other mental health
disciplines. This experienced, multi-disciplinary staff helps clients explore
the psychological, social and medical aspects of their problems.

Our
outpatient offices provide daytime as well as evening hours. During office
hours, crisis services may be available at outpatient offices. Crisis services
can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling (812) 537-1302
Confidentiality
Confidentiality
is a key element of providing services at CMHC, Inc. Clinical records are kept
in secured places and are seen only by authorized individuals. Clinical records
cannot be released to outside parties without the written permission of the
client (or the client's parent/legal guardian if the client is a minor). The
only exceptions are rare cases covered by the law.
Payment for Services
Our fees are based on the cost of providing
services. Our rates are competitive. We invite comparison with fees of
practitioners in the
CMHC is approved and recognized for third-party
(insurance) payments by Medicare/Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and most
major insurance carriers. Our billing department is happy to assist you in
filing insurance claims.
In some cases, assistance from tax subsidies is
available to help clients with fees. This assistance is based on family income
in relation to family size.
Fees for
our educational and consultation programs vary with the particular program and
the cost involved.
