Indiana to offer peer support certification program for consumers

Certified Recovery Specialist Program

ASPIN in partnership with NAMI has develop a training and certification program for Certified Recovery Specialists.  This program represents a partnership that includes several key stakeholders. NAMI and The SECT Center are partnering oncurriculum development and training. 

Eligibility for training as a Certified Recovery Specialist is available to individuals who self-identify as having a mental health diagnosis, who are over the age of 18, who have completed a minimum of a high school or a GED program, and must be a resident of Indiana.
