CMHC receives funding to improve services for persons in recovery form from substance abuse disorders.
June 21, 2010
CMHC received a 5-year grant worth up to $100,000 from The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati to fund a series of process improvement projects using the NIATx approach.
NIATX, which stands for the Network for Improvement of Addictions Treatment, helps organizations identify potential barriers consumers may face related to treatment entry and retention. The NIATx Approach encourages organizations to examine and improve their processes to reduce these barriers. The CMHC change team will look at our processes, gather consumer input, and make data driven decisions to sustain improvements.
The Health Foundation grant is structured as a pay-for-performance grant contingent upon us meeting quarterly targets for consumer engagement and retention. The Grant Manager for this project is Nancy Pieper, LCSW, North Outpatient Director.
